The presentation encourages people to make identity protection part of their regular routine and reduce their risk of identity theft. Identity theft happens when someone steals your personal information and uses it without your permission.  It’s a serious crime that can disrupt your finances, credit history, and reputation, and it takes time, money, and patience to resolve. Identity protection is a 21st century practice that can become habit. It requires thinking about your personal information as a valuable commodity and treating it with care.
